Raid roles & rotation
Split your squad into captains, rhythm keepers, and support. Captains call multipliers, rhythm keepers track combo timers, support members drop emote cues when it’s time to drink water or stretch. Rotate roles every two raids to keep everyone sharp and avoid hierarchy ruts.
Communication cues
Keep voice chat clear: short callouts like “Buff in 3…2…1” beat frantic yelling. In text chat, use emojis to reinforce mood—🌀 for cooldown, 🎯 for focus, 🧘 for break. Pin a cheat sheet in your squad Discord so newcomers learn the language quickly.
Boss phase etiquette
When the raid boss appears, designate one person to narrate key events. Everyone else mutes unless there’s urgent info. This prevents audio chaos and keeps the crew synced. If someone disconnects, finish the phase, then call a break rather than scrambling mid-fight.
Post-raid debrief
After the win (or loss), screenshot the results screen for your squad log, shout out MVP moments, and note any strategies to tweak. End with a wellbeing check: “Energy levels?” “Need a stretch?” This keeps your raid nights human and sustainable.
